Recipes

CivCraft has more than a hundred items of its own. You craft them on a normal workbench, from normal Minecraft items and from each other. This chapter holds the materials and the special items; weapons, armour, catalysts and tools are in Gear.

The same recipes are in the game in the info book.

How crafting works

• Fixed shape. For these recipes the place of each item matters, as drawn in the grid.
• Free placement. Put each ingredient in a slot of its own. When it says 9 times the same thing, fill all nine slots. The place does not matter.
• A CivCraft item is not a normal item. A recipe that takes Refined Sugar does not work using plain sugar, and a normal recipe does not accept a CivCraft item. Two items can look the same and still be different: hover over them to read the name.
• Some recipes need technology. Without the tech nothing comes out of the workbench and the game says which one you miss.
• Tiers build on each other. Tier 1 is made from plain resources, tier 2 from tier 1, and so on. Count on large amounts: one tier 3 item often costs hundreds of blocks.

Resources you cannot craft

These items appear in recipes, but you do not make them on a workbench.

• Token Of Leadership: from your camp's longhouse.
• Chromium Ore: from the Trommel, or for sale at the Market.
• Tungsten Ore: for sale at the Market.
• Mercury and Mercury Bath: from fishing.
• Crystal Fragments (Common to Legendary): the resource for catalysts. At the moment they cannot be obtained anywhere, see Gear.

These normal Minecraft recipes do not exist on CivCraft. For weapons, armour and most pickaxes, axes and shovels you craft the CivCraft version.
